I am GuitarBassPoet. I am a SongWriter. I cannot sing to save myself. So I am not a Performer. But I am a Musical Artist that writes songs; who can play Guitar, Bass and write/compose music. Think of Andrew Lloyd Webber. He writes the songs, but does not perform his creations himself. Similarly I write songs, 100% lyrics, co-compose the music.
Personally doing basic things like melody (and the accompaniment: cords, harmony, tempo, rhythm etc etc) either with Bass / Guitar / Bongo's; I then take this fundamental composition and co-compose accompanying music, using tools such as Ableton Live DAW and Suno AI. Additionally other sample packs may be used from Unison.audio / Yurtrock. From the beginning the vision, the creative pulse and musical direction for all my compositions is mine creativity and work. My music spans the full spectrum of the human experience — from deep spiritual devotion to dark folklore and secular storytelling. To protect the sonic atmosphere for my listeners, I release my work through distinct musical projects with distinct Heteronym name GuitarBassPoet (aka GBP) as the Artist. This is not AI a generated persona. I am a real person. Due to my interest in the Abrahamic faiths and also mythology Western Esotericism, some songs are expressed through particular genres of music. So while many of my songs are non-secular; others are more specialised and rooted in Abrahamicate and Mythological Occult themes. These works contain specialised Neo-Classical Oratorio's, Nocturnes and other alternative musical genres (both secular and non-secular). That said, such genres are not to everyone's taste. So think of me as a multi-talented songwriter; like attending a banquet, not all foods will be to everyone's taste. - GBP.
